BELLA DEER

In the ever-evolving realm of music, few artists manage to combine stunning vocals and raw songwriting with the finesse that Bella Deer effortlessly exudes.

Hailing from Geelong, in Regional Victoria (one hour from the state's capital Melbourne) Waddawurrung Country AU, this enigmatic songstress weaves her narratives with an open-hearted touch, offering listeners a breath of fresh air in a world saturated with sound-alikes.

Enveloped within her emotive and expansive sonic production, Bella Deer has garnered a devoted following, leaving many struggling to draw comparisons to her sonically, though echoes of artists like Florence and the Machine occasionally come to mind.

Making her mark in 2022 with her debut single 'Bloom,' Bella Deer embarked on a journey across regional Victoria.

The live arena serves as a natural habitat for this seasoned musician and performer, where her unwavering confidence in her craft immediately captivates the audience, forging an instant connection and leaving hearts resonating with her melodies. It is not uncommon to have an audience member voice how much they were moved by her storytelling.

Stepping into the spotlight, BELLA DEER's track 'Care Too Much'  garnered significant attention as a top 40 finalist in the prestigious APRA AMCOS Vanda and Young Global Songwriting Competition. This recognition firmly placed BELLA DEER in the company of other esteemed Australian songwriters, such as Yirrimal, DMAs, Amyl and the Sniffers, Baker Boy, Ziggy Alberts, Liz Stringer, and the sensational Genesis Owusu, to name but a few. Geelong Advertiser named her as an 'artist to watch' in early 2023.

The clips' Music Video was shot and co-produced with BELLA DEER with Geelong based filmmaker David Fromholtz. It features the iconic Aireys Inlet Split Point lighthouse.

2024 has already seen BELLA DEER come back fresh from South Korea performing a set to an attentive and interactive audience at a  live music venue in the heart of Seoul.

January saw BELLA DEER sell out her headlining Brisbane single launch with Brisbane based female artists AUBRIELLE and Amelia Kase.

Her fire is fueled by an unwavering ambition to share her unique sounds with listeners nationally and internationally.

Her latest industry recognition comes with being named a finalist in the current International Songwriting Competition (ISC) in the Adult Contemporary section based in Nashville, TN.

As anticipation builds for her upcoming release, it is evident that Bella Deer is firmly on the rise.

Her captivating artistry and magnetic stage presence are set to leave an indelible mark, leaving music enthusiasts eager to embark on this thrilling journey alongside her.
