Stepping into the spotlight, BELLA DEER's track 'Care Too Much' garnered significant attention as a top 40 finalist in the prestigious APRA AMCOS Vanda and Young Global Songwriting Competition. This recognition firmly placed BELLA DEER in the company of other esteemed Australian songwriters, such as Yirrimal, DMAs, Amyl and the Sniffers, Baker Boy, Ziggy Alberts, Liz Stringer, and the sensational Genesis Owusu. The Geelong Advertiser named her as an 'artist to watch' in early 2023.

Her latest industry recognition comes with Care Too Much (co-written and produced by Joel Quartermain of Eskimo Joe) being a finalist and receiving an Honourable Mention in the International Songwriting Competition (ISC) in the Adult Contemporary section based in Nashville, TN.

The song's Music Video was shot and co-produced with Bella with David Fromholtz. It features the iconic Aireys Inlet Split Point lighthouse.

BELLA DEER has had two recent overseas performances, to an attentive and interactive audience at a live music venue in the heart of Seoul, South Korea. In late August 2024 BELLA DEER appeared with Milan based musician Silvia at the long running Ferrara Buskers Festival, in Emilia-Romagna, Italy.
